Shipping Policies

We never want to postpone shipping you your new friend(s), but we cannot control the weather which can be unpredictable or at times extreme & the safety of our animals ALWAYS comes first! So if a decision is made to postpone shipping for the week, please understand that we do not make that decision lightly.

Please be sure to review the below shipping policy on how you can get live arrival guarantee and how you need to place your order to be able to qualify for a replacement from us. There are a few rules that will need to be followed to make the shipping company happy (these are their regulations to reimburse us for the insurance we pay for to then reimburse/replace for you). We highly recommend tracking your order as soon as you receive your tracking information. You can even sign up for updates to be texted to you on the FedEx Website!

SHIPPING ESTIMATES:

We ship LIVE orders EVERY TUESDAY, unless otherwise stated on our Facebook or indicated on the announcement banner at the top of our page here, or if you've spoken to us directly and arranged otherwise. 

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING: fees are calculated through the FedEx site (includes heat/ice/phase packs if indicated, crush resistant box, crush resistant/insulating foam)

We also ship all FEEDERS and NON-LIVING (supply) orders on TUESDAYS as well, unless otherwise stated on our Facebook or indicated on the announcement banner at the top of our page.

SHIPPING:

All spiders/mantises are shipped through FedEx via Morph Market Shipping, and there are NO EXCEPTIONS to that, because it is illegal to ship live arachnids/invertebrates through any other shipping provider including but not limited to: USPS, UPS, DHL etc. 

With this in mind, spiders and enclosures or other items CAN NOT be shipped together as a way to save on shipping cost. At checkout it should automatically split the orders and shipping for you for your live vs non living items!

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

Live Arrival Guarantee is a service provided if your spider or mantis arrives DOA (Dead On Arrival) so that it will be replaced. Below we have listed some specifics that must be followed for your order to qualify for a replacement spooder or account credit. We apologize, but no direct refunds will be given.

 

How to Qualify for a Replacement Spider if DOA:

-Guaranteed live arrival is for overnight shipments only.  You will have to select the option for overnight shipping. That is the number one requirement. 

-Track your package. Once the box is dropped off, we are not responsible for anything after that point. We have no control over FedEx, delays, the weather, etc. (but will do our best to work with you if issues arise). 

-Overnight shipping is a pricier option, however, it offers your new baby the best chance to be shipped to you the fastest and safest way. We understand that things happen when it comes to the shipping carriers. However, we are not responsible for their mistakes. If an issue arises due to carrier delays/mistakes, we will invoke the insurance that we pay extra for to get reimbursement which we then pass onto you.

 

• Purchase overnight shipping as your shipping method.

• Proof of dead-on arrival (pictures) must be provided within 1 hour of delivery, sent by contacting us thru Morph Market. 

• Shipment MUST be brought in immediately after delivery and not left to sit outside in the weather. 

• We try our best to hold all spoods/mantids that are showing signs of pre-molt, unfortunately some are sneaky and can be unpredictable. If a DOA occurs due to a mismolt in transit, please know that we do our best to avoid this, but will work with you in the event this unfortunate event happens.

Weather & Holiday Information:

Please be aware that shipments are also based heavily on weather. We do not ship in extreme temperatures which are below 35℉ or above 90℉. Temperatures of 35-65℉ require heat packs, and 80-90℉ require cold packs to ensure the safety of your animals and are included free of charge in your shipping cost.

We STRICTLY avoid shipping over any holidays. Therefore, we will hold your order until the following week should your shipping day land on a holiday week.

We do our best to get your friends shipped to you ASAP, however, their safety is our #1 PRIORITY above all else and changes to shipping schedules/policies will be made on an as needed basis to ensure their health and safety. We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter. 

We will not require a signature upon arrival, although, packages cannot be left outside and exposed to extreme weather conditions. If left unattended outside after delivered the Live Arrival Guarantee will be voided in the event your spiders are DOA.
